Care + Finish

  • My spoons are finished with pure linseed oil or pure tung oil, both food safe and without harmful additives.

  • Wash with warm soapy water and air dry. No dishwashers.

  • After many months of use they may look dry and need more oil. Use any food safe oil such as walnut oil, flax oil, or mineral oil if you do not have pure tung or linseed oil on hand. Just wipe on with a cloth and let it sit out in the open to dry. Excess oil can be wiped off after all has soaked in. This keeps them looking good and rinsing nicely over the years.
